WHY:             Marriage Matters!  Family is Forever!

FACILITATOR:      Pastor Maggie Theiss, fellow traveler on the journey of marriage & life!

We will gather for coffee and pie.  We will gather to dig into God’s Word.  We will do some listening, some sharing (if comfortable) and some praying.

We come admitting marriage is hard work and we need help so that God’s design for us can be all that He intended!

We come ready to fight for our families and ready to receive help to do that.

RESOURCES USED:  Fireproof the Movie, Fireproof Your Marriage, The Love Dare, The Five Love Languages and The Holy Bible.

Learning, growing, laughter, good dessert, and hope in the midst of a respecting, caring group of fellow travelers on the journey of faith and love.

All are invited to come – the introvert and the extrovert, the struggling and the seasoned, God designed this thing called marriage and God, the author has much to deepen the richness.

The Question to ask yourselves is not why should we commit and come, but why wouldn’t we?

Sunday Mornings

Paul’s Letter to Titus

September 15 – October 6 at 9 am

“The God Who Never Lies” or

“Christians in a ‘Cretan’ Culture.

Join in as we study of the Book of Titus.  Titus is a very short letter from Paul found in the New Testament.  Titus is a Greek Christian and trusted Co-worker with Paul.  Paul sends Titus to Crete to help sort out things.  In Greek ‘Kretizo’ means, to play the Cretan, i.e. ‘lie’.  The Christians in Crete were living in a very corrupt culture and Titus comes to help straighten things out and remind them of the “God who never lies”.  Titus’ task is to ‘teach sound doctrine’ and ‘maintain good deeds’.  As you study this brief letter to Titus consider life today as a Christian living in a culture filled with lies.  How is truth shared? Found? Expressed?  How much value do we put on ‘sound doctrine’?  How attentive are we to ‘maintaining good deeds’?
